What We Do

Background Checks and Screening Solutions

At Atlas Risk Management, LLC we’ve built our business around a single vision: To give each one of our partners Online Peace of Mind. Many companies can provide background information, but only one goes the extra mile to review and organize the information into a clear, concise report. That company is Atlas Risk Management!

We take the guesswork out of background screening… leaving you more time to take care of your business. Whether it is for pre-employment, tenant, or volunteer screening, Atlas will provide you with a decision-ready report. Your time is too valuable to spend pouring over large amounts of data – trying to make sense of the information.

Our team of researchers bring years of varied experience in law enforcement, criminal justice, healthcare recruiting and management, and human resources. Let us put our expertise to work for you!

By allowing Atlas Risk Management to provide your background screening services, you and your staff can spend your time taking care of your business. That saves you not only time, but also money.

When you put all of this together, you come up with one thing: Online Peace of Mind!

Social Security & Address History (SSAVY)

These reports aide in verifying the applicant’s basic information including full name, age, date of birth, addresses used, dates at listed addresses, Social Security Number, and possible phone numbers.

Employment Credit Report

This report is designed for employment purposes and does not count as an inquiry on the individual’s credit report. It does not reveal a credit score. It simply verifies an applicant’s credit history.

Driving Records

This search verifies an individual’s driver’s license number, address, and date of birth. It also provides information on driving history.

Criminal Searches

County Criminal Records

Atlas Risk Management will access the felony and misdemeanor index located at the county court house which typically lists felony and misdemeanor records for the entire county. (Price per service plus county fee.)

Statewide Criminal Records

A statewide criminal search pulls conviction record information from the state recognized repository. The availability and turnaround time varies by state which typically lists felony and misdemeanor records for the entire state. (Price per service plus state fee.)

Federal Criminal Records

Federal crimes are tried in the U.S. Federal District Courts. Atlas Risk Management performs searches at the district level through an online means (where applicable) or through the use of field researchers.

Nationwide Criminal Records

This search provides access to the largest criminal database available with over 630 million offense records from over 60 million offenders covering all 50 states.

Registered Sex Offender

Megan’s Law dictates sexual offenders must register when they move. Sexual offender registry searches are statewide searches of registered sex offender databases and the National Sex Offender Public database.

NCI Wants & Warrants

The applicant’s name and Social Security Number is checked through a nationwide database of current outstanding warrants. A positive match will reveal the issuing law enforcement agency contact information and all available warrant information.

Reference Verification

Employment

This search confirms the applicant’s employment with a particular employer. Our researchers make at least three (3) attempts to contact the employer and to speak to the applicant’s supervisor. We have a list of standard questions or we can tailor the questions to your company’s needs.

Education

This search confirms the applicant attended the specified educational institution and verifies attendance dates, diploma received, highest degree earned, etc.

Professional License

This search will confirm the status of a professional license such as a Physician, Nurse, Educator, Attorney, or Certified Public Accountant.

Workers Compensation History

Worker’s compensation searches are highly recommended in environments where physical activity is part of the job requirement. This information enables employers to avoid placing employees in positions that may pose risk of re-injury and identify habitual claim filers. Worker’s Compensation History is a statewide search available in most states, but must be conducted post-offer. The history will report the last five (5) events and includes case numbers, locations, case status, dates of injury, body parts injured, type of injury, and all party information including lien claimants.
